Abutilon megapotamicum ‘Variegatum’ – 6″ Hanging Basket
Abutilon megapotamicum variegatum has linear leaves of dark green with yellow mottling. The long stems of this lovely tropical fall down over a basket or pot to make an attractive hanging plant. The flowers have red bracts and yellow petals and hang down like a Chinese lantern. It blooms in the spring, early summer, and when protected from frost, will bloom throughout the winter.
Care of Abutilon megapotamicum variegatum:
Shade to partial sun, temp. 40 to 90 degrees, 8 to 10in. tall trailing to 2to 3ft. Keep this plant fairly moist.
