Aeschynanthus radicans var. ‘Crispa’
Aeschynanthus radicans ‘Crispa’ is the curly leaved variety of the Lipstick Plant. Dark green leaves are small and curve back on the stem. It has a trailing growth habit and will trail along the soil or hang over the side of the pot. The flower buds have the look of an open tube of lipstick as the red petals grow out of the calyx. It blooms frequently, if given lots of light and a little extra humidity. Grow it in a hanging basket for an unusual conversation piece.
