Begonia ‘Purple Curl’
Begonia ‘Purple Curl’ is a dazzling rex cultivar. The large leaves are a metallic hot pink to red with black in the leaf veins and leaf margin. Some leaves will have a little bit of silver in them, in the warmer temperatures. The leaf margin is cleft and fluted and the blade has a spiral. The colors in this rex are truly dazzling. You must see it to believe it. Give it a little extra humidity keep from extremes of heat. Like many rex hybrids, the colors in the leaves tend to vary depending on season. Colors tend to dull in the heat of summer but will become more vibrant again as the weather cools.

Shade to partial shade, temp. 45 to 90 degrees,12 to 14in. tall, allow getting slightly dry between waterings.
