Hoya imperialis
Hoya imperialis has some of the largest and most impressive flowers to be found in the genus. Individual flowers grow up to 4 inches across and appear in large clusters upon umbels. The waxy petals are pink to deep burgundy, or sometimes mottled with both and crowned with a porcelain-white corona. They exude a sweet fragrance reminiscent of cinnamon to some. The foliage of this hoya is dark green, elliptical in shape and undulated at the margins.
