Begonia ‘Beautiful Dreamer’
Begonia ‘Beautiful Dreamer’ is a Walter Dworkin of New York creation. It is a seedling from B. ‘Leonore Olivier’. The slender leaves are deep green with silver spots on them. The reverse of the leaf is red. The leaf margin is wavey and curves up to show off the red undersides. This cultivar has a spreading growth habit. It is said to have white flowers but our plants have not bloomed yet. The beauty of the leaves and its growth habit are so striking it does not need flowers to make an impression. This rarely offered cultivar will had depth to any collection.
