Begonia ‘Christmas Curl
Begonia ‘Christmas Curl’ is a gorgeous rex Begonia cultivar. We at one time mistakenly had this one identified as “Harmony’s Curly Christmas” and “Curly Christmas”. The medium sized leaves are pink to hot pink to reddish with a wide green margin edged in silver with a few silver spots. In the middle of the leaf is a black area. The large well formed spiral at the petiole attachment brings in the green to the center of the leaf. Like many rex hybrids, the colors in the leaves tend to vary depending on season. Colors tend to dull in the heat of summer but will become more vibrant again as the weather cools.
Shade to partial shade, temp 45 to 90 degrees, 8 to 12in. tall, allow getting slightly dry between watering
