Begonia ‘Steve’s Leaves Texas Shield’
Begonia ‘Steve’s Leaves Texas Shield‘ is a striking new rhizomatous hybrid from Steve’s Leaves. It has medium-large, oval-shaped, leaves that come to a point at the tip. The foliage is bronzy-green and is covered with small bubbles, each topped with a single hair. The back of the leaf is red and the leaf margin is lined with red hairs. This begonia has an open growth habit and has small, greenish, flowers which rise above the foliage. This cultivar will do well in bright light and a little extra humidity.
