Columnea gloriosa
Columnea gloriosa, along with other species in the genus, are often known as “Gold Fish Plants” for their bright flowers that resemble fish . The tiny oval leaves are deep green. It will trail over the pot and make a dazzling small hanging basket or hang over the edge of a mixed planter. It has large orange flowers.
Care of Columnea gloriosa:
Shade to partial shade, temp. 55 to 95 degrees, 6 to 8 in. tall, trailing 18 to 24 in, allow getting slightly dry between waterings. Keep from cold drafts and use room temperature water.
