Dischidia ovata – 6″ Hanging Basket
Dischidia ovata has oval shaped leaves that are dark green with golden veins. In bright light the normally green leaves will take on a purple hue. This is a trailer and will grow on a piece of cork bark in sphagnum moss. The tiny flowers appear in clusters and are yellow green with purple stripes. A common name for this little plant is “Watermelon Dischidia”.
Care of Dischidia ovata:
Shade to partial shade, temp. 50 to 95 degrees, 2 in. tall, trailing to several feet, allow getting dry between waterings.
