Tradescantia zanonia
Tradescantia zanonia is sometimes listed under the synonym Campelia zanonia. The common name is “Mexican Flag”. This tropical is native to Mexico, Central and South America. It has bamboo like shoots and gets 3 to 4 ft. tall. The large leaves are dark green with white and cream colored stripes. The tiny flowers are white and spiderwort-like. This plant like lots of humidity.

Shade to partial shade, excess humidity and temp. 50 to 90 degrees, 3 to 4 ft. tall. Allow to get slightly dry between waterings.
